CELPIP Speaking Preparation
When you start your CELPIP Speaking Practice, pay careful attention to the task heading.
The test is checking to see that you can adjust your vocabulary and tone when addressing someone you know or someone in a position of authority; therefore, it is important to identify who you are speaking to before you get started on your response.
The test is also checking your ability to speak about tangible situations and abstract situations.
The difference between task 1 and task 8 is that in task 1 you describe a picture (tangible), whereas in task 8, you describe an unusual situation (abstract).
“…I got my 9, and I’ve completed my PR application!… Thank you Angela…”
If you would like detailed feedback on your speaking responses, please submit your responses to our speaking correction service.
