The purpose of Free English Conversation Classes
The free English conversation classes at Ottawa English provide an opportunity for you to practice English and meet other people who are learning English all over the world.
Conversation Class times
Our English Conversation Classes are on Wednesday mornings between 11am and noon Eastern Standard Time (EST). That’s 7pm in Saudi Arabia and 8pm in UAE. These online classes are 100% free via zoom.
To participate in our free conversation classes:
Send me an email (angela@ottawa-english.com) explaining:
- why you want to take the class.
- which classes and topics you’re interested in.
The purpose of this email is to give me an idea of your English level so that I can group participants who are at a similar level.
I’ll respond to your email with a short article about the topic. I’ll also send you some question so that you can prepare some of your vocabulary before class.
I’ll also send you a zoom class link.
When it’s time for class, you’ll click on the class link, enter the password, and register on the Zoom App with your name, email, country, etc).
I’ll let you into the classroom when I see you in the waiting room.
Rules
Each free English conversation class has a maximum of 4 people, so please let me know if you can’t attend – I’ll give your spot to someone else.
Be punctual, polite and courteous, or I’ll remove you from the classroom and my list.
You can attend more than one free English conversation class, but new students, or particularly easy-going participants, get priority.
