RE: Bank Loan Repayment Issues

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to inform you that I am currently facing a temporary delinquency issue with regard to my monthly loan payment.

I originally borrowed $10,000 to supplement my savings when my house was damaged during last year’s tornado. I needed the money to make extensive repairs and was very grateful to your bank for helping me out during this very difficult time.

The loan repayment schedule was structured, so I would only pay about $340/month, including a 3% interest rate, over a period of 30 months.

Unfortunately, this month I am unable to meet my repayment obligation. I have been under the weather for a full 3 weeks, and my employer has refused to pay me for my leave. This situation has reduced my salary to a fourth of what it should be; however, this is only a temporary setback, and I should be back on my feet soon and able to make my scheduled payments next month.

I look forward to hearing from you.

RE: Gym Services issues

Dear Mr. Williams,

I have been an active member of “FitReady Gym” for the last 2 months. I was initially impressed by the attractive, exclusive and distinguished facilities you appeared to be offering  including the personal trainer, sauna, pool, and Christmas special mentioned in the local newspaper.

To my utter disappointment, I have not been able to get the featured services. Despite multiple attempts to access a personal trainer, I haven’t been able to get hold of any, due, apparently, to insufficient staff. The unhygienic condition of the Sauna is deplorable, and the pool has been closed as a result of technical issues.

Needless to say, I am thoroughly disappointed. I have tried to bring my concerns to the local manager’s attention, but to no avail. He has made no attempt to rectify the situation and has added fuel to the fire with petty excuses. Had I known I would receive an ‘ordinary’ rather than ‘exclusive’ experience at your gym, I would have chosen something more inexpensive.

I suggest you look into this matter and make any necessary arrangements to provide the exclusive facilities mentioned in the advertisement. If this is not possible, please cancel my membership and refund the complete fees.

I really hope that you deal with these issues and take steps to provide the excellent customer service that I, as a member of your gym, deserve.

  1. You recently returned from your honeymoon in Mexico. The staff at the resort really exceeded your expectations, providing you and your spouse with a number of complimentary services you didn’t anticipate.
Write an email to the company in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:
Describe the services received, and how they exceeded your expectations.
Explain how the services affected your experience.
Express your gratitude for the services received.
    Dear Manager,
I’m Renata Dias, and I visited your resort in Cancun last month, it was an amazing experience for me and my husband, the service that your team provided was flawless, and I would like to point out the room service, the buffet menu and the outdoor activities were above and beyond my expectations.
The room service and the buffet menu were the best that I have ever experienced. The room was cleaned every day, the towers were constantly changed for new ones, and the vase with fresh flowers from the gardener every morning was a special tough. The buffet menu on both breakfast and lunch were incredible, it was even a little bit hard to chose from the variety of food served.
Also, I would like to specially thank you for the scuba diving class that the resort offered to us. I would never imagine myself doing this sport, so thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.
Thank you once more, and I will recommend your resort to all my friends and in my social media as well.
    Best Regards,
    Renata Dias

    1. Dear manager,
I am triveni movva writing this mail to express my feedback regarding the guys who served for me during that one week. I am newly married. My husband and I visited mexico last week for my honeymoon. We stayed in your resort for one week.
We have received the best service from your resort staff in your resort are really amazing they really know how to treat customers and how to make them happy and satisfied.
I got couple of complimentary services from the resort, first one is free candle night dinner when I booked your resort for stay candle night dinner is not there in our package we are extreamely happy for that. Here is time for second complimentary, we were extreamely happy and surprised especially my husband, on July 7th my husband’s birthday at night 12 O’clock your staff bought cake for him and beautiful flowerbookey and conveyed best wishes on behalf of your resort.
I never expected this kind of service thank you so much for your impecable service, you people made my trip so memorable.
      Best regards
      Triveni Movva

  2. Write an email to the restaurant’s manager in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

State what problems you had with the food you ordered.
    Complain about the service.
Describe how you want the restaurant to resolve the problem to your satisfaction.

    Dear Manager,

I hope you are staying safe and healthy!
Me and my family appreciate you and your team working hard to give great hospitality to us while at our recent visit in this. But I would like to share my experience in detail with you.

I visited the restaurant on Friday evening to celebrate my daughter’s birthday! Many of our friends have recommended this place to us, hence birthday was just an excuse.
We booked the reservation for 9 people, as soon as we entered the restaurant table was not ready and the host looked little unaware about the reservation, after dealing with her for 7-10 minutes she mentioned, she can find our reservations. Quite an embarrassing moment in front of every one! I would have ignored this, but then my one guest was served chicken soup instead of vegetarian soup. She was very upset about it as she is vegetarian.
I would encourage you to ask workers to be more mind full while taking the reservation and check all the resources you have for the booking , so people like me not get embarrassed in front of the guest! I hope you understand!

Again, thank you, I am looking forward to hear from you if there could be any service adjustment done for the inconvenience.

    Tanvi Prajapat

  3. Dear Manager,
I am writing this email with regard to the unfortunate experience I had while visiting your restaurant last Friday with my family. Also, I believe that these inconveniences can be avoided in the future if certain measures are taken.
I had a dinner booking of six members prior to my visit. However, we were made to wait for about 7-8 minutes as the manager had to investigate the system to find our names. It was quite an embarrassing moment for us. Later, we ordered starters with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices, however, only the latter food items were served. Moreover, the soup was over-spicy, and the vegetables were rotten.
The drinks were served very late as the staff members were captivated by the Soccer match on TV. I looked for a manager to address my grievance, but he was not present.
Even though the food cost me an arm and leg, but I was highly disappointed by the unprofessional conduct of the staff and the substandard of the food.
I would request you to train your staff to provide ethical services to valuable customers. In addition, there should be a complaint box available where the customers can provide negative feedback.
I appreciate your time and I hope you would inspect this matter to avoid it happening again so that the reputation of your esteemed restaurant does not suffer.

  4. Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to you to compliment as well as expressing my dissatisfaction regarding the college cafeteria.

One important reason why I am a huge admirer of the cafeteria, it’s the different types of cuisine they provide, having said that, the complimentary shake is extremely delicious which is free of cost with the meal. Moreover what impresses me the most, how the chefs are so accurate and excellent when it comes to the taste as well as the warmth of the food when served.

However, there are few things which need your attention. The current waiters don’t treat the customers well. To elaborate, most of the time they are inactive and ignore the customer’s request. Furthermore, many of them operate the mobile during working hours. Lastly, the seating capacity of the cafe is not adequate if we compare it to the customer’s visit per day.

In my opinion, you should really send the current staff for the training and recruit the new staff. Moreover, you can add more seats in the cafeteria as this will resolve the problem of the long queues outside the cafe.

I look forward to hearing from you.

  5. Write an email to the restaurant’s manager in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:

State what problems you had with the food you ordered.
    Complain about the service.
Describe how you want the restaurant to resolve the problem to your satisfaction

    Dear Manager,
I hope you are doing well and staying safe from Covid-19.
Recently, I and my Wife visited your restaurant on the occasion of our 1st anniversary. we were very happy because we are going to have dinner in a world-renowned restaurant in our very memorable day. when I entered the restaurant I told them the reservation name but she didn’t recognize us, after standing there 15 minutes finally got our table.
we ordered loaded cheese fries with no bacon as an appetizer, but we got our food with bacon on it. I was so embarrassed in front of my wife. our main entry food comes tip-top condition. we didn’t eat the appetizer because there was bacon on it, server didn’t ask us to make a new one with no bacon. we feel so bad about that, it ruined our special day.
moreover, I suggest you put this issue in the front of the house staff knowledge to not happen again however, I feel you should refund the money for our appetizer or 2 free meal course
Hoping, to hear back from you soon.
    kind regards

  6. Read the following information.

    Field Trip Transportation
Your children’s grade 5 teacher likes to take children on field trips to museums or parks. Sometimes the teacher takes the children on public buses. Some parents are unhappy. They say the school should always use school buses even though it’s more expensive. You have been asked to respond to an opinion survey.

Choose the option that you prefer. Why do you prefer your choice? Explain the reasons for your choice. Write about 150-200 words.

Option A: Public Transit: I think it’s okay for children to travel on public transit.
Option B: School Buses: I would prefer children to only travel on school buses.

personally, I feel the Education center should take the student on public buses. However, I understand why parents think school buses are safe for a school trip because they don’t want any mishappening to happen during the school trip with their kids.

To begin with, I think if the school will take kids in public buses to the museum or parks they will know things that happen in our day to day basics. public bus experience will help in their future when they will graduate from school. it is safer for children to ride in public buses because one teacher will be with them additionally one assistant will be also with them to organise and watch the kids.
secondly, children will learn how to line up properly in crowded public places and get on the bus sequence-wise. However, school kids will not learn this on the school bus because there will be only known schoolmates.
last but not least, the school should think about the security of the children and create a security plan for this trip like giving an identity card to kids to keep in the pocket if they lost somewhere it will be helpful, identity card should consist of his name, school teacher phone number, parents telephone number and his home location.
Thank you, for asking my opinion, However, I will agree with the decision what the school organization made.
    kind regards

      1. Interestingly, it sounds great that your school is thinking a lot for students. Hence, It is an opportunity to be socialized and to adopt practical knowledge of fields which I really appreciate . Honestly, I don’t feel secure sending my daughter in public transit because yet she is too young for that. My preference is school bus, as it safe even all children can enjoy their tour . whether it will be exorbitant for parents but , personally every one can pay for their children’s security . Although, school buses can drop all children at their residence on time . Moreover, I have seen from Google map that your destination is approximately 200km far from my apartment which is not convenient for an individual to travel in public transportation . if you and your school authority select to bestow school transportation then I acknowledge to send my daughter to field trip .Unfortunately, I cannot allow to send her I apologize for that decision . I anticipate that your school will choose an appropriate and an effective outcome . A big appreciation that you ask my opinion . Furthermore, I look forward to hear from you.

State what problems you had with the food you ordered.

    To Whom it Maybe concerned,

I am writing to draw your attention to my terrible experience that I had in your restaurant on new year’s eve.

I made a reservation at your restaurant 3 months ago. In the reservation, I requested a sea view table for two and prepaid for your famous dish — Roasted Chicken. However, we were told that there was no more sea view table upon arrival. We had to sit beside the washroom or otherwise wait for 2 hours. This was undesirable for us, yet we accepted the offer since we were starving.

After we settled, I was informed the Roasted Chicken was sold out. I was furious because I did prepay for the dish, however, I got nothing back. I demanded to talk to the restaurant manager, yet my wish was not satisfied because you were not available at that time. At last, we decided to leave without ordering anything. However, your staff asked me to pay for a $300 bill for the service.

Your restaurant is famous in the town, it is unbelievable that you allow this ridiculous experience to happen. I demanded a formal explanation and apologize, as well as a full refund from you.

I hope this issue could be resolved to everyone’s satisfaction as soon as possible.

    Best regards,

  8. Dear Caribbean Hotel Manager,

My husband and I spent the las two weeks in your Hotel celebrating our honeymoon and I have to said it was the best experience ever. The staff were so polite and helpful making everything special for us.

When we booked our honeymoon package at the Caribbean hotel, we got an idea about what it included. However, your team were above and beyond of our expectations. To begin with an amazing decoration in our suite with flowers and balloons that really made us feel so special. Also, We went to a romantic expedition to the island and when we got back they prepared an special dinner on the beach only for us. They always had the best table reserved for us at dinner time and they created a little sign that said “Mr&Mrs. Correa”, it definitely made our night!

We are so glad that we choose your hotel to celebrate such as important days. We are going to be always grateful to all the staff that work hard to give us the best customer service experience ever. Thank you so much for the special treatment give to us and for having excellent people working at your facility. We definitely are going to celebrate our next anniversary there.

      1. You and your family visit the local shopping mall every week. However, it has become more and more difficult to find a parking spot recently. You would like to let the shopping mall manager know about this problem.

Describe the problem you are having with the mall’s parking.
Explain what you and your family have to do in order to visit the shopping mall now.
Provide some suggestions for how the mall manager can solve this problem.

        Dear Manager,

I trust this email finds you in good health in these trying times. Me and my family regularly visit your shopping mall because of its close proximity to our house, however, we have been facing issues that I would like to bring to your attention.

Of late, it has become increasing challenging to find a parking spot in the mall parking. Unfortunately for my family, weekends are the only time we get to stock up on groceries and plan our mall visits for other essentials. Sometimes it takes up to a half hour just looking for a spot to park the family minivan! Thats thirty minutes of time I’d much rather spending tending to our lawn or other weekend tasks! So we as a family have resorted to taking an Uber to the mall so as to save time waiting to park our car.

Perhaps a paid parking system instead of a free one will help our cause. Of course, your mall will still remain our shopping centre of choice but we’re hoping you will be able to address this issue for us with your wonderful managements techniques that are so evident in other parts of the mall!

        Yours Sincerely
        Vikramjeet Singh

You live in a small town of 10,000 people. A large green area in the centre of town is undeveloped. The city has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents would like to have built in that area.

Shopping Complex: This shopping mall would include restaurants, a large supermarket, and a movie theatre.

I believe it’s time for our city to build a shopping complex on the vacant land which is in the Ramoji Nagar in the center of the city which is more flexible for commuters. I will articulate my opinion in the following passage.

To begin with, Nowadays, malls are playing a key role in retail sales in terms of all aspects for their customer needs many malls are inducted with all brands under one building. Having many restaurants under one roof is feasible for guests, they can have different kinds of cuisine with their loved ones. For example, In Dubai emirates mall they have constructed a separate food court for the footfalls in the complex to enhance quality cuisine.

Secondly, A huge supermarket can demonstrate various kinds of ingredients to fulfill the homemaker’s needs as well as to the chefs, instead of looking online this would be Magnificant, Although, theatre is the best platform to the family who wants to spend their quality weekend by watching a film.

in conclusion, I Strongly believe Option A would be the best, and residents can freely do their shopping under one roof. I will support the city whatever the decision has taken.

    Dear Manager,
My name is Tharan Schweetz and I am a long-time loyal customer at this restaurant. I’ve always had excellent service and delicious food, however, last Friday when I was there with my husband around dinner time, we couldn’t be more disappointed. I had some questions about your new dishes, but the waiter was new at the job and had poor training on the menu offerings, so it was very confusing for us when he tried to clarify my doubts. On top of that, the food came later than what I’m used to waiting for it and it was cold, and so we had to send it back to the kitchen. Unfortunately, I can’t recall my server’s name for that night.
I deserve compensation for the poor experience I had, and I would like a free meal for my husband and me. I hope you can train your employees better and get back to the outstanding service you usually provided.
    Best regards,
    Tharan Schweetz

  11. Scenario: You recently made reservations for dinner at a very famous and expensive restaurant in town. However, the meal and the service were terrible. The restaurant manager was not available to solve the problem, so you left without a resolution.

Task: state what problems you had with the food you ordered, Complain about the service., Describe how you want the restaurant to resolve the problem to your satisfaction.

    Dear manager,

I am writing to report problems and dissatisfaction regarding your meal and service during my visit to your restaurant.

i arrived to the restaurant at the time mentioned when i was making the appointment. I expect a smooth flow from the front desk to my dining table. However the receptionist failed to locate my reservation which was made in advance a month ago. It took her around 15 minutes to sort things out. Even a regular restaurant has a better book-keeping ability when it comes to reservation arrangement.

In regards to the meal provided during my visit, the food are not cooked properly and it contains human hair in the side dish, which disgusted myself and i lost my appetite after that. In addition, i requested a specific glass of wine during ordering. However, they provided me with another type of wine without letting me know in advance. These mistakes are not acceptable, especially from a well known fancy restaurant in town like yourself.

All in all, the meal and service from your restaurant are far from expectation and i would like to request a compensation from you due to my negative experience. Another thing i would suggest is providing training to the kitchen crew and server crew. I would hate to see others have to experience what i been through.

Fell free to contact me and looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Best regards,

  12. Dear Manager,

I am writing this email to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service that I got from your restaurant. It was my younger sister’s birthday, last week and I made a reservation for dinner at your restaurant for 6 people. At first, when we arrive there our reserved table was not got ready and your staff made us wait for 6-7 minutes which was very disappointed for me.

Later on, we ordered our food from your waiter for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests. However, we got our food after a long wait and all the food items were too spicy and overcooked. None of us liked that food and we decided to complain about it to you but unfortunately, you were not present there. Therefore, I approached your staff to complain to them but nobody paid attention to my words which is another impressive reason for my frustration towards restaurant and staff behavior.

I would appreciate it if you look forward to this matter and provide me a refund of the money that I have had spent there. Furthermore, I want to suggest that, you should provide proper training to your staff for table sitting along with effective customer service skills.

I hope you will consider my opinion to improve your service quality.

You are going on a short training course at a college in Toronto, Ontario. You need somewhere to live while you there.

    *describe the accommodation you require
    * say when you will need it

My Self Ramu Alla, I have enrolled in 3 months course in food processing in your college. I would like to make an inquiry about the accommodation in your campus availability. Yours Sincerely,

  15. You recently made reservations for dinner at a very famous and expensive restaurant in town. However, the meal and the service were terrible. The restaurant manager was not available to solve the problem, so you left without a resolution.

Write an email to the restaurant’s manager in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things
    • State what problems you had with the food you ordered.
    • Complain about the service.
    • Describe how you want the restaurant to resolve the problem to your satisfaction.

    Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to inform you about the unfortunate experience I had when my family had dinner at your restaurant last Sunday. Unfortunately, there was no manager at that time to help resolve the issue.

I called last Thursday to make a reservation for a family of 4 and asked to be served dinner time at 07:00 P.M. We arrived exactly on time but the restaurant was overbooked and we still had to wait for another 15 minutes.

After we were seated, the food arrived promptly as they already got our order while waiting. However, it was all incorrect. The food were all mixed up with another table that night. They also forgot to remove the shrimps in one of the orders when we explicitly told them that one of us have allergies to it. The service was also terrible as no one was attending to us after we informed them of the incorrect orders. They took 30 minutes to get back to us.
We paid and left the restaurant disappointed.

Our family would appreciate it if your team will review this incident. We’re hoping that you will fix your reservation system and we suggest that you hire and train more staff in order to avoid this in the future. With this, hopefully, you will be able to provide great service to your customers.

    Thank you,

  16. Hello Sir/Madam
I am writing this email to report my dissatisfaction and bad experience with your restaurant last Sunday. There were official guests from abroad, and I was willing to let them taste our country’s authentic and traditional food, due to which I had chosen your well-known branded food place. Even I had other less expensive options, but I was not willing to take any risk.

First of all, some of the items mentioned in the menu were not available, which was an opening surprise for me and for sure it was not a good first impression. After that service was very slow. It really took an unexpected amount of time to get the food in front of us.

Last and most important is the quality of the food. It was not perfectly hot and even rice did not seem to be freshly boiled. There was too much oil in the curry items. Finally, there was a shortage of seasonal beverages.

I am concerned about the highly paid cost for this type of service and food. I request you to review this feedback with your staff and to maintain the reputation, at least 40 per cent of the amount should be paid back as compensation. Please let me know your view on this.

    Looking forward to your response.
    With Regards,
    Dany Jack

  17. Overtime or Bonus?
You work in a busy office. Sometimes you work overtime. Your manager wants to pay extra money for each hour of overtime; however, some people disagree. They think the staff should get extra money as a bonus once a year if the company makes money. The manager has asked you to respond to an opinion survey.

Choose the option that you prefer. Explain the reasons for your choice. Why do you prefer your choice? Write about 150-200 words.
Option A: I would prefer to be paid overtime.
Option B: I would prefer a bonus at the end of the year.

Thank you for considering our opinion on this matter. I would opt to be paid an overtime salary for the extra hours of work one will render. First of all, it would be a great motivation for employees to receive instantaneous monetary rewards for their efforts. It will boost their confidence if they know that one’s hard work is not taken for granted by the company.

Secondly, the money can be used as additional funds for their daily expenses. I know some of us needs to work part-time on weekends just to be able to provide for their family. Thus, it would be a great help to most of us if we received extra cash to spend for our daily cost of living. If we’re paid recurrently for the overtime work, we won’t need a second job and the time that we spent on weekends at work will now be allotted to our family.

Lastly, we can allocate the supplementary income in our savings. It is always good to keep money for rainy days since we do not know when we might need it. If we receive money regularly as opposed to a lump-sum payment such as the annual bonus, we could build a habit of saving money.

I really appreciate that you’re considering our feedback and I hope that you’ll consider the points that I have provided before you make your final decision.

    1. Your response would score 8. Watch your punctuation, conditionals, and third person ‘s’. This is formal so don’t use contractions.

  18. Writing Task 1:
You live in a large apartment building. The people who live in the building have to carry their garbage down to the two bins in the parking lot. However, the bins are too small.
Write an email to the building superintendent in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:
    Describe the problem.
    Complain about the problem.
    Suggest solutions.

    Hi Mr. Zhang,

My name is Say Go, and I am a new tenant in Room 512 here at Summit Ridge Apartments. I moved last month and noticed there is a problem with our garbage disposal system. The first issue that I have observed is the location. It is not very accessible, and placing the bins in the parking lot is extremely inconvenient for most of us. This a problem especially for those residents who live on the higher floors.

In addition, the two dumpsters are too small. It cannot accommodate the waste that the residents produce. I also noticed that the garbage overflows which attracts pests such as rats, roaches, and flies. This is very unsanitary and is a health risk not only for the tenants but also for people who live nearby.

To help solve this issue, I suggest we provide larger bins and put them in nearby locations. For instance, we can provide garbage cans on each floor and charge the residents an additional fee for the collection. However, some may disagree with the collection fee. If this will be the case, we can just place three or four additional bins at the back of the building and collect the garbage more frequently.

State what problems you had with the food you ordered.
    Complain about the service.
Describe how you want the restaurant to resolve the problem to your satisfaction.

    Dear Manager,

Last Sunday, I made a reservation at Alba’s restaurant to meet with a friend who is visiting our town for the first time. I decided to invite her to your restaurant since I heard a lot of great reviews about the food and service. It was also highly recommended by famous personalities.

Unfortunately, we did not receive the same level of service. First, we had a problem with your reservation system. I called in advance to avoid wait time but to our dismay, we were not on the reservation list. We had to wait for another 15 minutes before we were seated. The staff was also rude since they deliberately ignored us when we asked them how long is the wait.

Secondly, the quality of the food is below par. We ordered your famous Beef Wellington and Chips but, unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The beef was overcooked and hard to eat, while, the fries were soggy and drenched in oil.

No manager was available at that time, thus, we left the restaurant disappointed with no resolution. In this regard, I hope that you will look into these issues. I would suggest training the staff especially for proper service and standards in food preparation.

  20. City Development Survey

You live in a small town of 10,000 people. A large green area in the centre of town is undeveloped. The city has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents would like to have built in that area.

Choose the option that you prefer. Why do you prefer your choice? Explain the reasons for your choice. Write about 150-200 words.

Option A: Shopping Complex: This shopping mall would include restaurants, a large supermarket, and a movie theatre.
Option B: Recreational Park: This park would include a sports complex, a large green area, and a small petting zoo.

When I heard the news about the redevelopment, I was elated and excited for our town. It has been so long since we had a project this big in our city. I appreciate that you are considering our opinion on this matter. In this regard, I think it is a far better option to build a shopping complex than a recreational park.

Firstly, we do not have a shopping center yet in our area. The nearest grocery store is a 45-minute drive from the town’s center. It is far and not very accessible to our residents. This is a problem for us especially if we ran out of supplies and it would be great if we have a supermarket nearby to shop on these instances.

Secondly, the majority of the population in our town and neighboring cities are young adults. Thus, a shopping complex would be attractive to them since they could now have a place to hang out. If we put trendy restaurants and large movie theaters, we could entice more people to visit our town. This would eventually increase our town’s income.

Lastly, our town is abundant in nature. We already have a lot of parks, hiking trails, and lakes. We are also surrounded by beaches. Accordingly, I do not see any additional benefit in building a recreational park.

  21. Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that I found the post about reselling the Toyota Glanza car on the website http://www.carseller.com and I am interested to buy this car.
As per the information given by the website, is not enough to understand the history of the car. Some of the information is missing such as car mileage, price, and car meter status, machine condition, and the year you bought. Let me know if possible to meet you next weekend at 4:00 p.m… Or we can meet after 8:00 pm on working days. 22. Jashanpreet Kaur

    Dear Manager,

I visited your restaurant Dawett Fine Indian Cuisine last Saturday for dinner. My mom and dad came from India to meet me after three years. I had heard a lot about your restaurant from my friends. They told me me about the commendable quality of the food and service provided at your restaurant. So, I made a reservation at your restaurant. This was my first time visiting at your restaurant. We went there around 7 in the evening ; we placed our order and we kept waiting there for a while and nobody came to ask us if we wanted water. I have gone to various restaurants earlier this is their first part they serve us water.

Another thing which I would like to mention you is that our food came after very long time, we kept sitting there waiting for our food for almost half an hour. Even after waiting for this long time the quality of the food was not good. Our food was overcooked and it was really spicy that we could not finish our food. I felt embarrassed in front of my parents because they were quite hungry and I couldn’t treat them with good food. And talking about the service of your servers, nobody came to ask us later if we wanted something else.

My overall experience about your restaurant was awful. I wanted to talk to you the same day but one of your employer told me that you were not there at the moment. By writing this letter I just wanted to let you know about my experience in your restaurant, so that you can make the required changes in your service so that it does not happen with any other customers coming to your restaurant in future. Lastly, I would like to say that your staff should be trained well to provide customers with good service so that they are not left disappointed with the service provided at your restaurant.
