I’ve done my best to prepare a couple of Mock tests along with pages for each of the speaking tasks so that you can get an idea of what your CELPIP examiner is expecting to see in each response.

There’s a page for CELPIP advice where I explain how to think about what to say and how to organize what you say. That organization is key to getting a good score.

There’s also a page for the CELPIP Personal Experience question that gives you some tips for structuring your response. Often, the most important thing you can do is think of what you would say in your own language and how you would say it.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1628174868722{border-top-width: 5px !important;border-right-width: 5px !important;border-bottom-width: 5px !important;border-left-width: 5px !important;padding-top: 5px !important;padding-right: 5px !important;padding-bottom: 5px !important;padding-left: 5px !important;border-left-color: #7ab040 !important;border-left-style: solid !important;border-right-color: #7ab040 !important;border-right-style: solid !important;border-top-color: #7ab040 !important;border-top-style: solid !important;border-bottom-color: #7ab040 !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;border-radius: 20px !important;}”]There’s a page for the CELPIP picture description that explains how to go about describing the picture. Ideally, you’re aiming to describe the 2-3 areas of activity that you have the best vocabulary to describe well. You should use your preparation time to decide which areas those are.

There’s also a page for the CELPIP Prediction question where you speak about the same picture you described in task 3 but predict what you think might happen in the future.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1628175451732{border-top-width: 5px !important;border-right-width: 5px !important;border-bottom-width: 5px !important;border-left-width: 5px !important;padding-top: 5px !important;padding-right: 5px !important;padding-bottom: 5px !important;padding-left: 5px !important;border-left-color: #7ab040 !important;border-left-style: solid !important;border-right-color: #7ab040 !important;border-right-style: solid !important;border-top-color: #7ab040 !important;border-top-style: solid !important;border-bottom-color: #7ab040 !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;border-radius: 20px !important;}”]

For the CELPIP Comparison question, there’s a page that shows you how to blend your comparative forms and use them to persuade someone that your choice is best.

The CELPIP Difficult situation question can be very tricky, so I hope the description helps you to understand what you need to do.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1628175593302{border-top-width: 5px !important;border-right-width: 5px !important;border-bottom-width: 5px !important;border-left-width: 5px !important;padding-top: 5px !important;padding-right: 5px !important;padding-bottom: 5px !important;padding-left: 5px !important;border-left-color: #7ab040 !important;border-left-style: solid !important;border-right-color: #7ab040 !important;border-right-style: solid !important;border-top-color: #7ab040 !important;border-top-style: solid !important;border-bottom-color: #7ab040 !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;border-radius: 20px !important;}”]There’s another page for the CELPIP opinion question. This can be a tough question for anyone who has trouble thinking up their ideas quickly. Approaching it in the same way you approach your survey response may help.

And finally, the CELPIP Unusual Situation question. Like questions 5-7, this one can be tough. Essentially, you’re not describing the picture as much as relating to the overall situation.

I hope you find all this information helpful as you prepare for your CELPIP test, but do call or text me if you’d like a little help. I’m always happy to give you 10 free minutes to talk about your exam concerns.
