At the Water Park

Fill in the gaps with the correct form of the continuous past tense.

Part 1

Yesterday, Amy and her siblings went to a water park. They borrowed a small boat from one of their friends because they didn’t have one. When they got to the park, they unfolded the small boat and attached an air pump. They used the air pump because they wanted to fill the boat quickly.

While they (1. inflate) _____ the boat, a young man started talking to them. He (2. ask) _____ a lot of questions about the water park.  They stopped inflating the boat while he (3. talk) _____ to them.
